GP Publication of Earnings

NHS England now requires the net earnings of GPs to be publicised on the Practice website.

It should be noted that this calculation could potentially be misleading and does not take into consideration the hours worked by a GP in the practice, the employment of locums etc. Comparisons with other Practices are not likely to be valid and should not be used to make any form of conclusions.

Based upon the Practice List size of 2,261, the net average profit per GP partner at Colwell Medical Centre for the year ending 1/9/14 was £55,525 before taxation and National Insurance deductions.
This is for one full time GP who worked in the Practice for more than 6 months.

Westcotes Health Centre
Based upon the Practice List size of 3,575, the net average profit per GP partner at Westcotes Health Centre for the year ending 1/9/14 was £87,794 before taxation and National Insurance deductions.
